The Role and Responsibilities EnerMech are looking for a Senior Procurement Coordinator to join our Shared Services Centre in Mumbai . This is a permanent opportunity reporting to the Team Lead - Asset Management and Procurement. The Senior Shared Services Coordinator - Procurement will be responsible for carrying out core procurement coordination activities across the Procure-to-Pay process, while also supporting the Team Lead with work review, escalation follow-up, KPI monitoring, reporting, SOP maintenance, Freshservice request tracking, and guidance to junior team members. The role will support smooth daily operations, compliance with agreed processes, timely closure of procurement actions, and continuous improvement within the Shared Services Centre. Other main responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Carry out core procurement coordination activities across the P2P process, including PO creation, PO amendments, GRN posting, unposted invoices support, supplier compliance follow-ups, and procurement record maintenance. Support the Team Lead in tracking daily procurement activities, pending actions, ageing items, and agreed turnaround times. Assist in monitoring procurement KPIs, including PO creation timelines, GRN posting, invoice discrepancy resolution, supplier compliance tracking, Freshservice ticket closure, and other agreed service measures. Support procurement-related requests raised through Freshservice by tracking tickets, updating progress, following up with stakeholders, escalating ageing items, and supporting timely closure. Review procurement activities, including periodic sample checks where required, to support accuracy, compliance, timely completion, and identification of any irregularities or control gaps. The Requirements You will hold a Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline. You will be experienced in procurement coordination, shared services, or supply chain support. International exposure is also required and the role involves effective coordination with various entities. You will have a strong understanding of procurement coordination activities. You will also be familiar with procurement software/ERP systems, Freshservice or similar ticketing tools, and Microsoft Excel. Prior knowledge of Microsoft Navision would be preferred. Prior experience in a procurement role within energy, infrastructure or related sectors would also be preferred.
