This is an excellent opportunity for a junior crewing professional with around 1–2 years of experience who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced international shipping environment. Candidates with less experience may also be considered for a more junior position. The successful candidate will play an important role in coordinating the movement and deployment of crew across the global fleet, while supporting the recruitment and management of seafarers across a range of vessel positions. Key Responsibilities Coordinate crew changes and crew travel arrangements worldwide. Manage crew rotations and ensure appropriate staffing levels across the fleet. Coordinate travel, flights, visas and other logistical requirements associated with crew movements. Support the recruitment and selection of seafarers, including Masters, Chief Officers and other vessel personnel. Communicate regularly with crew members, vessels, colleagues and external stakeholders. Respond quickly and effectively to unexpected situations, including cancelled flights, medical evacuations and other crew emergencies. Maintain accurate crew records and ensure relevant documentation is up to date. Work closely with the wider crewing and operations teams to ensure smooth day-to-day crew management. We are looking for a proactive and personable individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment. You will ideally have: 1–2 years of experience in crewing or a related maritime role. Strong communication and organisational skills. Excellent spoken and written English. A confident, outgoing and open-minded personality. The ability to build positive relationships with crew and colleagues. A practical, problem-solving mindset and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The flexibility to deal with urgent and unexpected situations. An interest in developing a long-term career within maritime crewing. Location & Working Pattern The position is based in Hamburg, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement, typically offering 2–3 days of home working per week.
