Roster: Monday to Friday We are seeking a Geospatial Analyst to provide dedicated geospatial support to Fortescue stakeholders. This role will challenge the full range of your geospatial skills as you deliver high-quality mapping, spatial analysis, data management and visualisation services. Working closely with project stakeholders and a range of disciplines, you will apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities, respond to changing project requirements and deliver accurate, timely and high-quality geospatial solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your technical expertise to a key Fortescue project while working collaboratively with stakeholders and the broader geospatial team. Key Responsibilities Provide dedicated geospatial support to Fortescue projects, including map production, visualisations, spatial analysis and data management. Produce high-quality maps and spatial data outputs suitable for project requirements, government reporting and external submissions, using a variety of data sources across multiple disciplines. Work closely with project stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely, fit-for-purpose geospatial solutions. Manage geospatial requests and priorities, ensuring work is logged and delivered within agreed SLAs and stakeholder timeframes. Maintain high standards of spatial data quality through auditing, QA/QC, data cleansing and validation. Provide training, knowledge sharing and technical support to business clients and other geospatial team members. Adhere to Fortescue’s geospatial procedures, governance and standards, including templates, filing structures and request management processes. Stay informed on developments across relevant geospatial software and technologies and identify opportunities to improve geospatial processes, automation and service delivery. Qualifications and Experience At least 3+ years of geospatial experience gained through industry experience or tertiary studies – Essential. Proficiency and demonstrated experience using Esri ArcGIS Pro – Essential. Experience delivering geospatial services to business clients across a range of disciplines, with strong written and verbal communication skills and a focus on quality and standards – Essential. High-level geospatial data management skills, including auditing, QA/QC, cleansing spatial datasets for accuracy and reliability, ETL and editing within ArcSDE and SQL databases – Essential. Experience with the Esri Enterprise stack, including data management and governance within Portal, developing Portal web applications such as Maps, Scenes and Dashboards, ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcGIS Server and Data Store – Desirable. Experience with FME, Global Mapper, VertiGIS Studio/GeoCortex and TerraExplorer Pro – Desirable. Programming, scripting or coding skills such as Python, JavaScript, FME, SQL, ArcGIS ModelBuilder or ArcGIS Arcade, particularly for business solutions and automation – Desirable.
