Roster: 7D7N14R FIFO ex Perth We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced Mining Supervisor. Mining Supervisors are responsible for all aspects of Load & Haul functions of open pit mining operations. The role is focused around leading a team of committed people who share a vision of being the safest and most efficient Mining Team. Key Responsibilities As the Mining Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in: Demonstrate strong safety values. Lead mining operations and team members to ensure safe and productive operations. Support team members and maintain positive culture & environment. Champion Fortescue Values. Coach and develop team members and take accountability for the skills training matrix. Conduct pit inspections. Conduct field interactions and complete incident investigations. Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the mining industry. Schedule 26 essential. Strong leadership experience and ability to engage and empower large teams. Experience in Autonomous Mining operations is highly desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Proven commitment to safety. Computer proficiency in Microsoft office. Strong understanding of efficiency drivers in a large-scale mining operation. About Us Be part of something big.
