This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Instrumentation & Control professional to take on a technical leadership role, driving engineering excellence across complex offshore projects including FPSOs, floating production facilities, offshore platforms, and brownfield modifications. Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership Act as the technical lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Instrumentation Engineering discipline. Provide technical guidance and solutions for complex engineering challenges across multiple projects. Develop and maintain engineering standards, specifications, and best practices. Review and approve critical engineering deliverables and key technical decisions. Project Execution Lead instrumentation engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle for offshore facilities, including FPSOs, floating production units, offshore platforms, and brownfield modifications. Plan, coordinate, and execute instrumentation engineering work while ensuring technical quality and compliance. Prepare and review key engineering deliverables, including: Instrument Index I/O Lists Cable Block Diagrams Loop & Termination Diagrams Control & Safety Philosophy Detector Layouts Cause & Effect Charts Control System Architecture SIL Verification Studies Oversee the design and integration of Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS). Support HAZOP, SIL studies, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and start-up activities. Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and classification society requirements. Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and automation/control system specialists to ensure successful project delivery. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Act as the primary technical interface with clients, EPC contractors, classification societies, certifying authorities, and equipment vendors. Lead technical bid evaluations, vendor reviews, and package integration activities. Leadership & Capability Development Mentor and develop junior engineers, promoting technical excellence within the team. Support recruitment, competency development, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 15 years' experience in Instrumentation & Control Engineering within the Offshore Oil & Gas industry. Strong project experience involving FPSOs, floating production facilities, offshore platforms, and brownfield modifications. Demonstrated experience as a Lead Engineer, Discipline Lead, or Technical Authority on major EPC/EPCI projects. Good knowledge of international engineering standards and codes, including IEC, API, ISO, NORSOK, and relevant classification society requirements. Strong exposure across the full project lifecycle, including Concept, FEED, Detailed Design, Commissioning, and Operations Support. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and resolve complex technical challenges. Experience with Integrated Control & Safety Systems (ICSS) is highly desirable. Why Apply?
