Sign up free to apply →The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in a refinery environment. This role ensures optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Requirements Maintenance & Repair Conduct routine preventive maintenance on HVAC units, including cleaning, inspection, and component replacement. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant system issues. Troubleshoot faults in HVAC controls, sensors, and automation systems. Compliance & Safety Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Handle and recover refrigerants in accordance with environmental guidelines. Maintain accurate service records, logs, and documentation. Customer Service & Communication Communicate clearly with clients, supervisors, and team members regarding work performed, issues found, and recommended solutions. Qualifications & Skills Essential Trade qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent). Or trade qualified Electrician with HVAC experience Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams. Knowledge of HVAC electrical systems and controls. Current driver’s licence. Desirable Additional certifications (e.g., EWP, Working at Heights).
