We are looking for several experienced Ordinary Seaman (OS) for a short-term temporary assignment as part of the Dry Dock Riding Team on board the cruise vessel AZAMARA QUEST . Position: Ordinary Seaman (OS) Vessel: AZAMARA QUEST Embarkation: 31 October 2026 Contract: 1 month Assignment: Dry Dock Riding Team Requirements: All valid and up-to-date STCW and other relevant certificates, with suitable experience for the position. Schengen Visa: Candidates who do not currently hold a valid Schengen visa will be required to obtain one prior to embarkation Interested and available candidates are kindly invited to submit their updated CV and valid certificates for consideration. General Duties – Dry Dock Deck Riding Team Deck Maintenance: Painting, scraping, surface preparation, and general maintenance of veranda balconies and outdoor public areas, including swimming pool areas and open decks. Survival Craft Maintenance: Painting, scraping, surface preparation, and general maintenance works on tenders, lifeboats, and rescue boats . General Dry Dock Duties: Assist with various deck maintenance and repair activities as required during the dry dock period, following the instructions of the Deck Department and shipyard management. Position Summary Responsible for the maintenance to the exterior of the vessel in accordance with Company Policies, any National or International standards and any other prescribed regulations. Participating in the preparation of the vessel for arrival and departure, loading and discharging operations. Assisting and supporting the Deck department in every respect according to the Master’s, Staff Captain’s or Bosun’s instructions. Reporting Structure Reporting to the Staff Captain and the Bosun. Safety Duties: Participates in crew and passenger safety drills according to instructions. Always complies with the Company’s safety and pollution prevention regulations and operating procedures. Leads by example by taking care of Health and Safety of self and others. Ensures that all work equipment, personal protective equipment, chemicals and safety devices are being used correctly. Education/Experience/Qualifications: Valid STCW95 certification. Appropriate certification as required by regulations. Good understanding of exterior maintenance and repair. Must be fully proficient in operating tender boats and rescue boats. Experience on board passengers ships in a similar role. Physically and medically fit. Moral integrity is required. Coast Guard and Port State Control experience. Language requirements: Fluent English (verbal, written and technical). English is the working and safety language on board . This also includes the ability to give and receive instructions in verbal and written forms and to effectively and efficiently engage with guests and crew members. Additional languages are considered beneficial. Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Required to stand, walk long distances, reaching and sitting. Repetitive motion of bending, going up and down stairs, climbing ladders. Lifting or pushing of up to 50lbs. The position requires overtime work and irregular schedules. Works in all areas of the vessel with light traffic and distracting environments. Profile: Punctual. Proactive approach to problem solving. Ability to be flexible, well organized, self managed and motivated. Handle multiple demands, remain calm and effective under pressure and resolve issues quickly. Effective, full, clear and concise communications is essential. Safe, professional and personal practices. Well groomed and neat appearance. Ability to work in confined spaces. Ability to live in close quarters, share limited space with cabin mates. Ability to deliver a high standard of performance. Status - Rating. Salary - Refer to contract. Rotation - Refer to contract.
